In an energetic demonstration of drum techniques and styles, Tony Azzopardi and Mark Stewart present a history of percussion through the ages, using a large range of drums and hand percussion. The program features rhythms and patterns used in all types of music and includes a student participation segment....for which there is no shortage of volunteers!
This concert is designed for the youngest students of the Upper Hunter Conservatorium – those studying Early Childhood Music. We are pleased to welcome back the sensational performers of Drumbeat to the Upper Hunter for a concert in both Muswellbrook and Scone.

Heelers Community Tree Planting at Highbrook Park

Muswellbrook Rugby Union Football Club invites our Members, Players, Sponsors, Supporters and Friends to join us at Highbrook Park on Sunday 18th November to participate in a Family Tree Planting and B.B.Q. lunch. Each tree will have a small disc attached to it showing the name of the person who planted it and the date planted. Highbrook Park has been home to the Heelers for many years and it is our aim to assist in making the area attractive for the years to come.
