St James Parish Church Centenary 1912-2012

We take great pleasure in inviting you to the St James’ Church Centenary Celebrations.
Thursday 6th Dec
Join in the Christmas celebrations at St Joseph’s High School, Aberdeen. Festivities begin at 5.30pm with a concert provided by the students. The highlight of the night will be the Christmas Pageant and carols. Many food and drink stalls will be available.

Friday 7th Dec
Take a trip down memory lane as the students of St James’ Primary School re-enact many of the important events of our Parish over the last century. The performance will begin at 6.30pm. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.

Saturday 8th Dec
Saturday Vigil Mass including Children’s Choir at St James’ Church beginning at 6.00pm. Family Outdoor Movie Night on the grounds of St James’ Church beginning at 7.30pm. BBQ dinner and light refreshments available. BYO chairs and rugs.
Sunday 9th Dec
10.00 am Mass St James’ Church including the consecration of the Church. After Mass enjoy a BYO picnic lunch, participate in the launch of the Centenary Book, share the cutting of the Centenary cake, view the placement of the time capsule and visit the memorabilia display.
